The Senior He&R Specialist Vascular EMEA provides operational support to the EMEA HE&R Vascular Director in developing strategy and executing activities to secure market access for Abbott Vascular products. This role works closely with country-level HE&R team members and engages cross-functionally at the EMEA and global levels.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning and design of in-country analyses, aligning with in-country HE&R teams and cross-functional EMEA teams.
- Collaborate with Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory Affairs to design evidence related to clinical, economic, and value-related claims for the Vascular portfolio.
- Plan and perform research related to medical coding, coverage, and payment in EMEA countries to drive market access for key growth drivers.
- Conduct research on payer data and reimbursement-related insights to inform customer engagement initiatives.
- Co-design hospital economic models, such as calculators, to support current Vascular growth drivers and upcoming technologies.
- Standardize internal communication to EMEA Vascular commercial stakeholders on the reimbursement landscape for all Vascular procedures and devices.
- Represent the HE&R EMEA Director as a business partner to Vascular commercial teams in EMEA when appropriate.
- Manage specialized third-party consultants to deliver input to the above activities as needed.
YOUR PROFILE:
- University degree in Medicine, Economics, or Social Sciences preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong business acumen to connect with local/regional business leaders and develop HE&R solutions to support the business.
- Both strategic thinking and proactive, tactical execution with a drive for results.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels in the organization.
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and Excel Pivot tables.
- Project management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
