A Market Access professional focuses on ensuring that a product, particularly in the healthcare, nutrition and pharmaceutical industries, is accessible to the market by navigating pricing, reimbursement, and regulatory pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Market Access Strategies by do strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, R&D) to ensure successful market entry.
- Pricing and Reimbursement: Analyze local, regional, and global reimbursement and pricing environments. Work with health authorities, insurance providers, and other stakeholders to secure product reimbursement.
- Stakeholder Engagement to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, payers, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups.
- Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR): Develop health economic models and tools to demonstrate product value. Conduct cost-effectiveness and budget-impact analyses to support pricing and reimbursement decisions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor strategies, and healthcare policies to inform market access strategies
REQUIREMENT:
- 2-5 years of experience in market access, healthcare, pricing, or a related area.
- Have good sales capability
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement pathways, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Familiar ethical business, that is related to way of working and performance to the channel and distribution
