At present, the company’s market reach is limited due to a lack of Market Access strategy and process to enable national access. The new Market Access Director position has been created with an exciting brief – to build and lead a new function and create patient pathways and access to the company’s life changing medicines and this will be the company’s number one priority for the coming years.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Market Access Manager with a detailed understanding of the UK market, NHS structure and HTA requirements to take on a leadership role and create a legacy: Opening up a vastly under-served market for innovative and life changing medicines in the UK & Ireland. The Director will work closely with the UK & Ireland General Manager to develop an efficient, creative and ambitious Market Access function which will build on the current, limited, market reach of their products, expand to National Access and, in time, support the development of HTA submissions for current and future products.
Expert knowledge of the UK market, specifically; NHS structure, ICS’s, pathway re-design and NICE Submission processes is essential and applicants should also have strong commercial acumen – a background including sales and/or marketing positions as well as strategic Market Access experience is preferred.
