HTA submissions:
- Provide informed insight, and analysis to aid with the development of HTA strategies and plans which are consistent with strategic brand plans for new and existing products to facilitate national market access for our products.
- Develop, manage and execute HTA submissions to ANS and CONITEC across the product portfolio.
- Remain current and knowledgeable of the external market access and health economic environment, key trends and the potential impact for Ipsen products.
Value proposition focus
- Provide expert Market Access and Health Economic input to build/customize a robust value proposition for Ipsen portfolio.
- Adapt and develop market access and health economic tools/evidence packages provided by global/regional colleagues, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and relevant for Brazil.
- Lead the interpretation of results, validation of reports and other communications for the Brazilian affiliate and global.
- Clearly articulate the place in therapy, change to existing treatment algorithms and clinical value of Ipsen’s products to HTA agencies and other their party payers.
- Build relevant, solid value arguments with supporting health economic and financial implication analyses plus, advising on clinical data and alignment to pathways.
- Implement, monitor and constantly report the progress of strategic projects to local and global team
Princing
- Develop pricing Dossier strategy to CMED, including planning and risk assessment.
- Pricing dossier elaboration and/or reviewing
- Build relevant, solid value arguments with supporting pricing dossier and the consequence in market access strategy.
Commercial Forecasting
- Validate and adapt global forecasting and patient flow models in conjunction with medical and commercial leads. Collecting information in multiple data sources, including literature, Brazil epidemiological sources, Datasus scripts and health utilization sources, and HCPs (through advisory boards and other means).
- Complete scenario analyses to inform commercial decisions and ‘what if’ queries.
Evidence Development (HEOR)
- Work with medical and commercial functions, as well as global colleagues to identify and aid in the design of local studies, and evidence development to support HTA submissions and local value stories.
- Represent Brazil on global Value&Access teams/meetings.
Ethics & Compliance
- Ensure market access plans developed, implemented, and effectively administered are consistent with Ipsen’s corporate guidance and all regulatory, legal, ethical SOPs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree level education required in Economics, Medical/Health sciences, Pharmacy or equivalent
- Post graduate qualification desired in Health Economics, Statistics, or Epidemiology
- Demonstrated leadership of prior HTA submissions (preferentially to ANS, CONITEC)
- 3-5-year prior experience working directly on ANS and CONITEC submissions or other HTA submissions for Brazil
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience is desirable
- Project management experience
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent verbal and written English and an ability to use these skills effectively to communicate with senior leaders and colleagues across the business.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
