Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews on health financing models, universal health coverage (UHC), and sustainable healthcare funding strategies.
- Analyze health expenditure trends, government health budgets, and out-of-pocket spending in specific countries/regions.
- Assist in the development of case studies on successful health financing interventions in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
- Support data collection, analysis and reporting for costing studies, including assisting in the design of data collection tools.
- Assist in reviewing national health policies related to financing and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support preparing talking points, briefs, and summaries for meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating workshops and training on health financing topics.
- Contribute to the preparation of weekly, quarterly and annual programmatic reports
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
- Economics, Health Management, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in English (French and Kinyarwanda is an asset).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interest in health financing
