This is a new position within the UK affiliate of a major global Pharma company which employs almost 50,000 people worldwide and markets products in more than 150 countries.
Reporting into the Business Unit Director, the incoming Market Access Manager will be responsible for the design and delivery of successful Market Access plans and associated materials which meet NHS priorities and enable optimal access for the company’s existing and new products within an immature market.
Working within a highly collaborative and ambitious team, the Market Access Manager will work with various internal stakeholders including Clinical, Medical, Regulatory and HEOR colleagues as well as engaging with NHS stakeholders. This position will be a high-profile one within the organisation and the Market Access Manager will represent the UK in regional and global meetings and working groups.
Applicants must have a substantial background within UK Market Access, including devolved nations, preferably from working within another pharmaceutical company. However, candidates with extensive Market Access Consulting experience are also encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will have a track record of planning and leading effective Market Access strategies, a detailed understanding of the NHS including patient and funding pathway design and implementation of NICE TAs.
In addition to relevant experience, excellent networking and influencing skills are vital and a genuine passion for securing patient access for new medicines is essential.
This will be a hybrid office and remote based role which will also entail some UK travel. Applicants must hold a valid driving license and be willing to travel within the UK (and Europe) as required.
