Due to stable growth during the past few years, they are eager to recruit an experienced candidate within their Outcomes Research team. This team are experts in delivering high-quality literature reviews which are used to inform manuscripts and HTA submissions. These reviews include systematic, rapid and pragmatic and usually lead to qualitative or quantitative synthesis (network meta-analyses & matching-adjusted indirect comparisons.)
The Senior Health Outcomes Researcher will take on a variety of activities including: Conducting systematic reviews, performing / supervising various study analyses including meta-analysis and they will work alongside the company’s Health Economics team to design new projects, develop protocols and run search strategies to identify necessary evidence for health economic models. As this is a Senior position, the successful candidate will also be responsible for the development of slide decks, study reports, manuscripts, posters and other relevant publications and will provide day-to-day project management.
Applicants must have proven experience either within the Consultancy sector or within Academia of undertaking Outcomes Research and Evidence Synthesis projects. An MSc in a relevant scientific / numeric subject is highly preferable but most important is a detailed understanding of the concepts associated with systematic review, evidence synthesis and critical appraisal, with excellent technical expertise in methodologies combined with a genuine interest in health technology assessment and health economics. Experience within ITC, NMA and survival analysis would also be beneficial but is not necessarily essential.
