This is a new position within the Global function of a major pharma company focusing on leading Health Economics strategy and projects for a dynamic Oncology portfolio of pipeline and in-market products. The Director will be responsible for leading (with the support of internal colleagues and external consultants) the design and execution of retrospective and prospective HEOR studies, model creation / adaptation, HEOR data generation, and training internal colleagues on the use of health economic data and arguments to effectively communicate value.
Applicants must have a strong background in health economics (ideally including a PhD in Health Economics or a similar subject) and previous pharma/biotech company experience with a good level of understanding of product lifecycle management. International (European / Global) markets experience is also essential.
This will be a highly collaborative position and the Director will work regularly with multiple internal stakeholders including Pricing & Reimbursement, Clinical Development, R&D, Marketing and Regulatory Affairs colleagues as well as external consultants to deliver a range of projects and therefore, a high level of strategic insight and experience is required.
