Summary:
- Take the lead to promote a favourable policy / legislative environment with various stakeholders including Government officials, policy makers, professionals and patient group.
- Work with the commercial team to ensure the full integration of market access strategy and execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and engage strong professional relationships with key influential legislators, government officials and healthcare professionals who have significant input and impact to Baxter business.
- Build and lead cross-functional strategic policy committees to develop and implement impactful state market access initiatives and lobbying campaigns.
- Develop annual & long-term strategic plans and projects that support the value preposition, marketing and market access in Taiwan.
- Actively involve in marketing strategy development and provide sufficient insights to optimize business opportunities.
- Engage with payers and key decision makers to deliver value prepositions timely
- Understand the payer funding process & P&R process & provide insight to internal stakeholders.
- Provide P&R pricing & market issue & work together with government affairs to generate potential recommendations
Qualifications
- Knowledge in Taiwan healthcare system and national reimbursement environment; strong experience in government advocacy is preferred.
- Strategic thinking, ability to formulate and implement strategies
- Embrace challenges with tenacity
- Strong interpersonal skills, judgment and political acumen.
- Proficient reading, speaking, and writing skills in English and Chinese
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and execute collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
- With minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device industry, at least 3 years’ market access related experience
- BS degree and advanced degree preferred in law, public administration, healthcare economics, business, public health administration, public policy, or other related field.
- Experience successfully building and leading cross-functional teams and projects.
