Key is to develop and modify HEOR strategies and tactical plans in support of global market access and medical organization strategies to leverage and demonstrate the value of Cepheid\u2019s products. Collaboration with others is critical and this role works closely with the Global Product Management, Medical-Scientific Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial functions to ensure appropriate and timely integration of all relevant HEOR and payer evidence into clinical planning to optimize access and adoption of our assays\/systems across all prioritized regions.<\/p>\n<p>The Senior Director of Global HEOR will also ensure payer insights are leveraged to inform strategic business decisions, such as product development, marketing and commercial strategies, clinical and medical affairs and lead establishment &amp; maintenance of payer value stories inclusive of key clinical, economic and patient-centered value messages and identify opportunities to strengthen value story. In this role, you will also lead the integrated evidence planning (IEP) process to ensure that the organization prioritizes impactful studies. This position is within the Market Access and Government Affairs organization located in the US and will be fully remote.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In this role, you will have the opportunity to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and modify HEOR strategies and tactical plans in support of global market access and medical organization strategies to leverage and demonstrate the value of Cepheid\u2019s products.<\/li>\n<li>Lead Cepheid\u2019s integrated evidence planning (IEP) process to develop comprehensive value stories and prioritize short and long-term evidence generation plans; Ensure alignment of HEOR strategies with Commercial and Medical strategy, including providing payer-based &amp; HTA-based value evidence input into evidence development programs for Cepheid products.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and oversee quantitative health economic modeling and outcomes research\/real-world evidence (RWE) studies with an integrated global approach for maximizing pricing and early\/sustained market access.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that appropriate global quantitative research and health economic modeling are undertaken to develop an integrated global approach for maximizing launch prices and early\/sustained market access.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute a comprehensive and compelling HEOR publication plan as a part of the product publication strategy to appropriately disseminate to the value messages and evidence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The essential requirements of the job include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience OR MS, MPH, MBA, PhD, PharmD, or MD with 8+ years of relevant global HEOR experience in pipeline and marketed products.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of people management experience<\/li>\n<li>Span of control across multiple therapeutic areas such as Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Infectious Diseases, Women\u2019s Health, Sexual Health, Virology and\/or Healthcare-associated infections<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of the US and Ex-US health care systems and financing mechanisms; Public and private payer experience required.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in diagnostics\/ Health Technology product development and\/or commercialization (may be concurrent with health economics research and strategy experience).<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in methodologies and study designs that produce clinically and economically relevant value information in both the development and post-launch time period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Travel Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to 30% travel- domestic and international<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The annual salary range for this role is $250,000-$300,000.
