- Assisting in the development and implementation of reimbursement strategies and programs to obtain coverage, coding and payment from payer/providers.
- Providing reimbursement and federal health policy-related advice to product development teams, marketing, sales, regulatory, clinical and business leaders.
- Ensuring appropriate reimbursement, health economics and policy analyses and perspectives are integrated into business plans.
- Analyzing health economics and claims data to be used internally and consultatively with providers.
- Establish working relationships with related professional organizations, trade party associations and other key third parties to influence outcomes of critical market access issues.
- Federal healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare) and related policy development processes.
- Policy development and Medicare and commercial payer claims data.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders across multiple business areas, including imaging, laboratory diagnostics, digital health and therapies.
- 4- 6 years of experience in reimbursement, health economics and/or outcomes research, preferably with experience working with medical technologies in the medical device arena.
- Bachelor’s in a life science, health economics, health policy, healthcare finance or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system including expertise in health care financing, reimbursement policies related to the device industry, and technology assessment.
- Strong communication skills and experience developing interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
