As Health Economics and Value Assessment Analyst VIE in our Oncology HEVA team in Sanofi’s oncology franchise, you’ll gain experience generating robust health economics and observational research to be used for internal decision making and for external audiences over the product lifecycle. 

You will partner with Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) lead to support the planning, design, implementation, and completion of evidence-based research studies that are needed to gather evidence to successfully launch Sanofi oncology products, and support HEOR and market access strategies. 

Main responsibilities: 
•    Support the early pipeline and Sarclisa sub-teams focused on HEVA deliverables such as reimbursement dossiers, indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs), real-world data, and modelling.
•    Coordinate and develop draft and final slides or reports, including writing, editing, and proofreading, as necessary.
•    Research and summarize information contained in clinical guideline statements, payer coverage policies, and health technology assessments to answer a key strategic question for the team.
•    Support development of the strategy for and perform literature searches to inform evidence‐based reviews (epidemiology data (incidence/prevalence), efficacy/safety data, economic evaluation, utilities, resource use/costs).
•    Abstract relevant data from articles, develop and develop evidence tables summarizing abstracted data.
•    Critically evaluate the research methods and statistical findings of health outcome studies retrieved from the medical literature and proposed by other colleagues to further discuss with the preceptor HEVA Business Partner.
•    Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders. 
•    Support project management activities. 

About you

Experience: 
•  
  Minimum one year of relevant work experience, preferably as part of a pharmaceutical/biotechnology company, contract research organization, or consultancy for pharma/biotech

Soft and Technical skills:
•    
Knowledge of methods and principles of health economics and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) reviews 
•    Demonstrated understanding of relevant methods (e.g., literature review, observational data, epidemiology, meta-analysis, indirect comparison, parametric survival analysis, biostats) to show product value potential
•    Able to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
•    The highest levels of personal initiative and attention to detail 
•    Excellent organizational, project management, as well as written and oral communication skills 
•    Learning mindset with flexibility to pivot direction and focus if/when needed 

Education:
•    Advanced degree in health economics, pharmacy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or similar technical discipline 
Languages: 
•    Fluent with professional English conversation, writing, reading and analyses with interest in gaining experience presenting in English.
