The Director, Dupixent Value and Access will be a key contributor to the Dupixent Franchise with specific Value & Access responsibilities for Dupixent in the dermatology therapeutic areas with a specific focus on Purigo Nodularis (PN) as well as Dermatology Access Pull Through Excellence. This position will support both the tactical and strategic components of the Dupixent Value and Access team. This position will maintain a high level of collaboration and integration with the Dupixent brand team, US Market Access, Market Research, Regulatory, Medical, HEOR, Legal, Training and other departments as necessary. This role will have responsibility for developing resources for US Account Management Teams, managing trade association meetings, payer media planning, as well as field pull-through tools. This role will also ensure integration of payer insights across the Dupixent franchise and with key stakeholders through close collaboration with both the Professional and Consumer Marketing teams. This position will be based in Cambridge, MA and report to the Senior Director, Value and Access (Dupixent).

The level of the position will be determined and will be commensurate with the experience of the identified candidate.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Dupixent Value & Access PN efforts, including development and implementation of the payer strategy, regular engagement and close integration into brand business and alliance management
  • Support strategy and business plan inputs related to PN indication, and broader franchise considerations as they relate to all channels to ensure optimal Dupixent performance and access
  • Plan and manage the Dupixent payer brand budget for PN indication, including engaging and overseeing strategic projects, as well as providing regular updates to brand team
  • Partner with HEVA business partners to inform real world evidence generation and ensure health economic activities are in place to meet the needs of payers when assessing PN indication, while demonstrating value across the Dupixent franchise
  • Identify gaps in current market access understanding, especially as it relates to best practices when engaging account team and supporting pull through initiatives
  • Drive forward pull through opportunities and execution of pull through strategy for all channels and geographies based upon formulary position and (upgrading and elevating processes & capabilities with account team, MAEs, FRM, Sales, etc.)
  • Provide pricing and reimbursement guidance around product forecast/financial model development specific to PN indications, and as relates to cross-indication perspectives (as requested)
  • Develop strong value communication messaging to support PN launch and favorable payer perspective in order to support access
  • Act as Dermatology Field Liaison by interfacing with account director team to keep pulse of customer needs and market trends, effectively communicating insights across Dupixent V&A team and taking key learnings to refine and improve strategic considerations and tools / tactics development
  • Assess current payer landscape to identify trends around digital and other innovative approaches to better engage and support payer account teams
  • Manage creative agencies relative to PN indication
  • Coordinate and contribute to payer market research efforts as needed (eg, Market Access advisory boards, syndicated reports, in-depth interviews, etc)
  • Support Promotional Review Board (PRB) champion for DUPIXENT Value and Access (i.e., medical, legal, regulatory review process) for PN indication
  • Provide analytical support around payer reports to capture trends around coverage, distribution, and OOP costs
  • Demonstrate flexibility to take on other responsibilities, as needed by the business over time
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and company processes

About you 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • BA, BS or equivalent required with 5-7+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience 
  • 3+ years of Market Access experience, such as Payer Marketing, Account Management, Contracting, Training 
  • Experience with specialty products 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have a strong understanding of the marketing in the US, including developing tools and tactics applicable to US payer markets 
  • Understanding and experience in different access and reimbursement models, including Part B, Part D and Medicaid 
  • Strong sense of professionalism, accountability and urgency for defined areas of responsibility 
  • Ability to communicate tactical direction and related concepts clearly, orally and in writing, across internal and external audiences (e.g., sales, marketing, advocacy) 
  • Capable of managing multiple complex projects including time and events, scenario and contingency planning, and the ability to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of outputs and deliverables 
  • Ability to develop and implement tactical executions that have high impact (e.g., marketing materials, special programs, etc.) 
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with the medical/legal/regulatory submission and approval process to ensure appropriate review and timely delivery of materials 
  • Capacity to engage effectively with agencies in order to translate marketing objectives into actionable and innovative strategies and solutions 
  • Proven ability to align internal stakeholders and achieve results through collaboration
