Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, government agencies, and key opinion leaders to facilitate product access.
Market Access Strategy: Implement access strategies that align with AbbVie’s goals, ensuring products are accessible to patients across different market segments.
Reimbursement Policies: Analyze and interpret national and local reimbursement policies and trends affecting market access monitor changes and competitive situation in the environment to anticipate risks and opportunities for Market access and advise on tactical plans to address these risks.
Value Proposition: Define Value Propositions by analyzing Core Value Dossiers, stakeholder needs, local environment and Brand priorities to develop local ones. Liaise with region to identify further requirements for value propositions development.
Value Dissemination: Provide internal & external strong dissemination plan for local tools, evidence, to support and communicate the value propositions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and guidelines related to market access and reimbursement strategies.
PRICING
Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies that are competitive and align with market needs.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and patient affordability to inform pricing decisions.
Pricing Negotiations: Lead negotiations with key stakeholders to achieve favorable reimbursement terms that reflect the product’s value proposition.
Financial Acumen: Active participation with AbbVie management leaders in financial planning and brand planning cycles.
HEALTH ECONOMICS AND OUTCOMES RESEARCH (HEOR)
Outcomes Research: Lead HEOR initiatives to demonstrate the value of products through scientific research, generating evidence to support product positioning. Provide input to Global HEOR about needs of the affiliate to be considered when developing HEOR models.
Economic Models and Tools: Develop or manage the development of economic models, value dossiers, and other HEOR tools that articulate the economic value of products.
Access Submissions: develop HTA & sectors needed tools as well as payers & providers requirements.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in Market Access/Strategic Key Account management role.
- Very well understanding for the Saudi market dynamics.
- Deep understanding for Saudi market pricing requirements.
- Understanding for reimbursement requirements in the Saudi market.
- Experienced in developing market access strategies and solutions.
- Experienced in market access pre-launch & post launch readiness.
- Deep understanding for Pharmacoeconomics & HTA.
- Excellent business acumen.
- Experienced in managing KOLs.
- Ability to manage complexity.
- Ability to accurately interpret clinical and economic data.
- Real World Evidence generation experience is a plus
- Post graduate degree in Pharmacoeconomics/ public health/ pharmaceutical pricing is a plus.
