Market Access and Bidding Head

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead brand level NRDL strategy building including to organize cross functional taskforce, analyze annual NRDL policy, understand brand knowledge, build pricing scenarios and enable sales, marketing and KA to complete key external stakeholder coverage. Eventually achieve company NRDL goal.
  • Lead brand level NEDL strategy building including:
    • Cooperate with central MA to do NEDL policy analysis and identify the policy insights.
    • Co work with brand team to work out the key messages for key stakeholders.
    • Build action plans and play the role PMO to ensure the quality of implementation.
  • Drive new initiatives of payer program, e.g., understand CHI policy trend, cooperate with Association to shape CHI policy, build CHI case studies etc.
  • Drive DRG&DIP strategy cross BU, establish regular taskforce including BU sales & marketing, KA,  to analyze DRG&DIP impact on business and work out hospital-based strategy to increase opportunities and mitigate the risks.
  • Regional market access project design for engagement of Key provincial stakeholders and regional policy shaping. (OPD, local CHI, healthcare projects etc.)
  • Update China MA policy trend to global MA, pricing and HE teams.
  • National drug and Medical food Bidding strategy and make sure excellent execution every bidding case while synergy  with sales ,MKT ,Medical and commercial  team .
  • China MND market access and bidding capability building.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above is required and major on pharmacy, Health Economics, Public Health, Medicine is preferred.
  • MBA / MPA is plus.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • 5-10 years’ experiences working on market access area in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fundamental knowledges about the China health care system and national payer insights etc.
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills. Proven success in leading cross-functional team activities. Manage and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders
  •  Strong business acumen, strategic and innovative thinking, clear logic and analytical skills.
  • Quick learner with passion to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (English and Chinese, both oral and written)
  • Bidding management experience is plus
