We are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position: Market Access Manager Schweiz (m/f/x).

The Position:

The Market Access Manager is a key role within our Market Access Department and will be responsible to devise the overall local market access strategy and ensure timely execution of the market access deliverables for the assigned products/indications. The position will be dedicated to the assigned Daiichi Sankyo products and a key member of the brand team for such asset.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Leads and coordinate submission processes for the assigned product/indication:

  • Develops and executes an integrated national market access strategy (policy/advocacy/government affairs) in collaboration with Head of Market Access
  • In alignment with the Global Pricing Strategy, develop and lead local pricing and access strategy and negotiations with Swiss Authorities to gain and maintain reimbursement for DSCH’s oncology, cardiology and pipeline product portfolio in Switzerland
  • Responsible for the market access deliverables required for a market access submission

In strong collaboration with the Head of Market Access, the market access manager is a key member of the country negotiation team responsible for:

  • Negotiation with BAG (Bundesamt für Gesundheit) for new products/indications
  • Responsible for Art. 71a/b/c KVV processes and related activities regarding health insurance agreements ensuring continuation of patient access for DSCH’s products
  • As a key member of the product brand team, the market access manager brings the payer perspective in every decision:
  • Contribute to cross-functional brand strategies and planning
  • Provides advice to the regulatory team to ensure relevant local marketing authorization is supportive of the national access strategy
  • Build a constructive partnership with the alliance partner counterpart working seamlessly as “ONE” company
  • Support Head of Market Access in collaboration with global and regional DS partners to conduct annual reimbursement situational analyses to inform access strategies and planning assumptions for the region
  • Beyond pricing, partners with other affiliates, regional and global colleagues to build a solid network and consistently provide the DSCH input for global and regional market access decisions

Supports the Head of Access in establishing Daiichi Sankyo as a key player in the pharmaceutical industry in Switzerland:

  • Understand key policy issues that impact DSCH’s business in Switzerland and support DSCH’s policy positions to shape the policy landscape related to product pricing, access and reimbursement
  • Based on the circumstances and topic, the market access manager represents Daiichi Sankyo in the relevant industry associations in alignment with the Head of Access

Education & Professional Experience:

  • Relevant and demonstrable experience in Pricing, Market Access, HEOR and RWE (country level) in a pharmaceutical company; at least 3 years
  • Capable in bringing together the strategic and tactical objectives to ensure delivery of the overall market access and pricing objectives set forth
  • Deep knowledge of the Swiss market access environment as well as experience of negotiation
  • Sound knowledge of relevant Swiss legislation
  • Proven ability to work and lead in a matrix organization with ability to influence without authority
  • Fluency in German and English is essential, knowledge of another Swiss national language is a plus
  • Team player, used to working independently and efficiently, an innovative and dynamic personality
